Masjid al-Haram

Masjid al-Haram is the mosque in Mecca surrounding the Kaaba, Islam’s holiest sanctuary and the focal point of Hajj and Umrah.

Kaaba: A cuboid structure in Mecca that Muslims face during prayer and circumambulate during pilgrimage. The sanctuary’s central structure gives the mosque its religious focus.
