Medina Province

Medina Province is an administrative region of western Saudi Arabia, centered on Medina and extending west to the Red Sea coast.

Medina: A city in western Saudi Arabia and one of Islam’s holiest cities. The province’s capital and largest urban center gives the region its name.
Hajj: The annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, required once for Muslims able to undertake it. Pilgrims also visit Medina, connecting the province to a major national travel season.
Hejaz: A historical region of western Arabia along the Red Sea, including Mecca and Medina. Medina Province occupies part of this long-standing western Arabian region.

Ha'il Province: A landlocked Saudi administrative region southeast of Medina Province. Its boundary marks the transition from the Hejaz toward north-central Arabia.
AlUla: An oasis town and archaeological destination in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Its ancient settlements and landscapes form a distinctive part of the province’s interior.
Yanbu Industrial City: A planned Saudi industrial complex on the Red Sea near Yanbu. Its refineries and petrochemical plants are central to the province’s coastal industry.
