Meles Zenawi

Meles Zenawi was an Ethiopian politician who served as prime minister from 1995 until his death in 2012 and led the ruling Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front.

Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front: A coalition of Ethiopian parties that governed the country from 1991 to 2019. Zenawi led this ruling coalition through most of its years in power.
