Michael Collins

Michael Collins was an American astronaut who piloted Apollo 11’s command module, Columbia, while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin explored the Moon in 1969.

Apollo 11: The 1969 NASA mission that first landed humans on the Moon and returned them safely to Earth. Collins piloted its command module in lunar orbit while Armstrong and Aldrin landed.
