Michel Serrault

Michel Serrault (1928–2007) was a French actor whose career spanned theater, film, and television. He became internationally known for playing Albin in La Cage aux Folles.

La Cage aux Folles: A French stage comedy by Jean Poiret, later adapted into a film about a gay couple who run a Saint-Tropez nightclub. Serrault originated the role of Albin onstage and reprised it in the film.
