Mikhail Tukhachevsky

Mikhail Tukhachevsky was a Soviet military commander and theorist who helped develop the Red Army and served as its deputy commissar for defense. Executed in 1937 during Stalin’s purges, he became a prominent victim of the destruction of the Soviet officer corps.
