Mitsuo Fuchida

Mitsuo Fuchida (1902–1976) was a Japanese naval aviator who led the first wave of the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Isoroku Yamamoto: A Japanese admiral who commanded the Combined Fleet during the opening years of the Pacific War. Yamamoto conceived the Pearl Harbor operation that Fuchida’s air group led.
Attack on Pearl Harbor: A Japanese surprise attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Fuchida led the first wave and transmitted the signal announcing that surprise had been achieved.
