Knowra Møns Klint Møns Klint Møns Klint is a stretch of white chalk cliffs on the Danish island of Møn, rising above the Baltic Sea. Its exposed chalk layers record deposits from the Late Cretaceous.
Chalk : A soft, porous limestone formed mainly from microscopic marine organisms, especially calcareous plankton. This pale limestone forms the cliffs and gives Møns Klint its striking color.
