Knowra Naypyidaw Naypyidaw Naypyidaw is Myanmar’s capital and a purpose-built administrative city in the country’s central region. The government moved the national capital there from Yangon in 2005.
Myanmar : A Southeast Asian country formerly known as Burma, bordered by India, Bangladesh, China, Laos, and Thailand. Naypyidaw became the seat of government for this country.

Than Shwe : A Myanmar military ruler who led the country from 1992 to 2011. His government ordered the capital’s relocation and oversaw its construction.
Government of Myanmar : The national institutions and officials that exercise executive, legislative, and judicial authority in Myanmar. The government’s ministries and offices are concentrated in Naypyidaw.
