Necrophobia

Necrophobia is an intense, persistent fear of dead bodies, death, or things associated with death. It can cause avoidance and distress beyond ordinary discomfort around mortality.

Specific phobia: An anxiety disorder marked by persistent, disproportionate fear of a particular object or situation. Necrophobia is commonly classified within this broader diagnostic category.
Fear conditioning: Learning in which a previously neutral cue comes to trigger fear after association with threat. A death-related cue can acquire a fear response through direct experience or observation.
