Neferhotep I

Neferhotep I was a pharaoh of Egypt’s Thirteenth Dynasty during the Second Intermediate Period, probably reigning in the late eighteenth century BCE.

Thirteenth Dynasty of Egypt: A dynasty of Egyptian rulers that followed the Twelfth Dynasty and governed during the Second Intermediate Period. Neferhotep I was one of its rulers, during a period of political fragmentation.
