Neil Simon

Neil Simon (1927–2018) was an American playwright and screenwriter whose Broadway comedies include The Odd Couple, Barefoot in the Park, and Brighton Beach Memoirs.

The Odd Couple: Neil Simon’s 1965 comedy about mismatched roommates Felix Ungar and Oscar Madison. Its contrasting roommates became Simon’s best-known comic pairing.
