Neurolinguistics

Neurolinguistics studies how the brain represents, processes, and acquires language, combining evidence from linguistics, psychology, neuroscience, and clinical disorders.

Language comprehension: The processes by which people derive meaning from spoken, written, or signed language. It examines how neural activity turns linguistic input into understood meaning.
Phonetics: The study of the physical properties and production of speech sounds. Speech perception links acoustic signals to neural language processing.
