New General Catalogue

The New General Catalogue (NGC) is a catalog of nebulae, star clusters, and other deep-sky objects compiled by John Louis Emil Dreyer and published in 1888.

John Louis Emil Dreyer: John Louis Emil Dreyer was a Danish-British astronomer who compiled the New General Catalogue. His work consolidated earlier observations into the catalogue published in 1888.
