Newton (unit)

The SI derived unit of force, equal to one kilogram metre per second squared. It is the force that gives a one-kilogram mass an acceleration of one metre per second squared.

Force: An interaction that changes an object's motion or deforms it. The newton is the SI unit used to quantify force.
Newton's second law: The law stating that an object's net force equals its mass multiplied by its acceleration. It connects a force in newtons to mass and acceleration.
