Nikkatsu

Nikkatsu is a Japanese film studio and production company founded in 1912. It is known for its long history of filmmaking and for the action films and Roman Porno productions it released.

Yoshizawa Shōten: A Japanese film company established in 1904 that imported films and operated cinemas. It was one of the firms whose merger formed Nikkatsu in 1912.
Nikkatsu Action: A cycle of Japanese action films produced by Nikkatsu from the 1950s through the 1970s. It became the studio’s signature postwar film identity.
