Nizam of Hyderabad

The Nizam of Hyderabad was the hereditary ruler of the princely state of Hyderabad in the Indian subcontinent. The Asaf Jahi dynasty emerged from Mughal provincial authority in the eighteenth century and ruled until Hyderabad’s integration into India in 1948.
