Nonane

Nonane is an alkane with molecular formula C₉H₂₀. Its unbranched form, n-nonane, is a colorless, flammable liquid.

Alkane: A saturated hydrocarbon composed only of carbon and hydrogen, with carbon atoms joined by single bonds. Nonane belongs to this hydrocarbon family and follows its acyclic formula, CₙH₂ₙ₊₂.
