Oʻahu is the third-largest Hawaiian island and the most populous, containing Honolulu and much of Hawaiʻi’s political, economic, and cultural life.

Kauaʻi: Kauaʻi is the northernmost of the main Hawaiian Islands and the oldest of the archipelago’s large islands. Its older, deeply eroded landscapes contrast with Oʻahu’s more developed terrain.
