Obscene gesture
An obscene gesture is a bodily movement, often a hand sign, that communicates sexual vulgarity, insult, or contempt through shared social conventions.
Nonverbal communication: Communication through facial expressions, posture, gestures, and other signals rather than spoken or written words. Obscene gestures convey judgments and emotions without requiring speech.
Middle finger: A hand gesture in which the middle finger is extended while the other fingers are folded, commonly used as an insult. It is a widely recognized obscene sign whose meaning varies in force by setting.
