Oceania (Nineteen Eighty-Four)

Oceania is one of three totalitarian superstates in George Orwell’s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, encompassing the Americas, the British Isles, and Australasia. Its ruling Party maintains power through surveillance, propaganda, and perpetual war.
