Onjo of Paekche
Onjo is the traditional founder and first king of Baekje, an ancient Korean kingdom. Later histories conventionally date his reign to 18 BCE–28 CE.
Baekje: Baekje was an ancient Korean kingdom that existed from the late first century BCE until 660 CE. Onjo’s traditional kingship marks the beginning of Baekje’s royal history.
Baekje annals: The Baekje annals are the chronicle section of the Samguk Sagi devoted to Baekje’s rulers and events. Their opening entries give Onjo’s conventional dates and account of the kingdom’s founding.
