Oomoto

Oomoto is a Japanese new religious movement founded in 1892 by Nao Deguchi. Its teachings emphasize divine revelation, world renewal, and spiritual practices.

Nao Deguchi: Nao Deguchi was the Japanese religious founder whose revelations gave rise to Oomoto. Her revelations beginning in 1892 established Oomoto’s foundational teachings.
Ofudesaki: Ofudesaki is the name of Nao Deguchi’s writings, recorded as divine revelations in an unusual script. These revelations preserve the foundational messages from which Oomoto’s teachings developed.
