Operation Overlord

Operation Overlord was the Allied campaign to establish a foothold in German-occupied northwest Europe, launched with the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944.

Operation Neptune: Operation Neptune was the naval and amphibious assault phase of the Allied invasion of Normandy. It carried the first assault forces across the Channel on D-Day.
