Oswald Mosley

Oswald Mosley (1896–1980) was a British politician who led the British Union of Fascists from 1932 until its dissolution in 1940.

Diana Mitford: A British socialite and fascist who married Oswald Mosley in 1936. Her marriage to Mosley linked his political life to the Mitford family and fascist circles.
New Party (United Kingdom): A British political party founded by Mosley in 1931 after he left the Labour Party. The New Party was Mosley’s immediate experiment between Labour and the BUF.
Blackshirts: The uniformed paramilitary supporters of the British Union of Fascists. Their street presence made the BUF’s political identity visible and intimidating.
