Owen Chamberlain

Owen Chamberlain (1920–2006) was an American physicist who shared the 1959 Nobel Prize in Physics with Emilio Segrè for discovering the antiproton.

Emilio Segrè: Emilio Segrè was an Italian-American physicist who shared the 1959 Nobel Prize in Physics for discovering the antiproton. Segrè was Chamberlain’s collaborator in the experiments that established the antiproton.
Antiproton: The antiproton is the negatively charged antiparticle of the proton, with the same mass and opposite baryon number. It was the particle Chamberlain and Segrè identified in their 1955 experiment.
