Parikshit

Parikshit is a Kuru king in the Mahabharata, grandson of Arjuna and father of Janamejaya. His death after a sage’s curse frames the Bhagavata Purana.

Parikshit’s birth: The miraculous birth of Parikshit, the posthumous son of Abhimanyu and Uttara. His survival preserves the Kuru line after the war and establishes his place in the epic.
Arjuna: A Pandava prince and master archer who is central to the Mahabharata. Arjuna is Parikshit’s grandfather, linking him to the victorious Pandava generation.
