Paul Signac

Paul Signac (1863–1935) was a French Neo-Impressionist painter and printmaker who developed Divisionism and Pointillism with Georges Seurat.

Neo-Impressionism: An art movement that applied systematic color theory and divided brushwork to modern subjects. Signac helped establish this movement as a distinct alternative to Impressionism.
