Persona

A persona is a public or fictional identity adopted by an individual, performer, or character, distinct from that entity’s private or ordinary identity.

Social identity: A person’s sense of self shaped by membership in social groups and relationships. A persona presents selected aspects of identity to a particular audience.
Stage persona: A performer’s crafted public identity used in performance and public appearances. It is a direct form of persona designed for an audience.
Identity: The qualities and relationships through which a person or group is recognized as distinct. A persona is one public or fictional form of identity.
David Bowie: An English musician and actor known for repeatedly changing his musical style and public image. Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust persona made reinvention a central part of his performance.
