Personal computer

A general-purpose computer designed primarily for use by one person at a time, typically at a desk or as a portable device. It runs software for tasks such as communication, work, and entertainment.

Central processing unit: The processor that executes instructions and coordinates operations in a computer. It performs the computations that let a personal computer run applications.
