Philip I of France

Philip I was King of the Franks from 1060 to 1108. His long reign helped secure the Capetian dynasty while royal authority remained limited by powerful regional lords.

Baldwin V, Count of Flanders: Baldwin V was count of Flanders from 1035 to 1067 and served as regent for the young Philip I. As regent, he governed during Philip’s minority and helped maintain the kingdom’s continuity.
