Phoronid

A marine, tube-dwelling invertebrate in the phylum Phoronida. It feeds with a crown of ciliated tentacles called a lophophore.

Lophophore: A crown of ciliated tentacles used for suspension feeding in phoronids, brachiopods, and bryozoans. Its cilia draw food-bearing water toward the mouth.
Phoronid feeding: Food capture and transport in phoronids, driven chiefly by cilia on the lophophore. Tentacle cilia sort particles and convey food toward the mouth.
Brachiopod: A marine invertebrate with two shells enclosing a body that bears a lophophore. Brachiopods share the lophophore but differ in their shell-bearing body plan.
