Pina Bausch

Pina Bausch (1940–2009) was a German dancer and choreographer whose dance-theatre works combined movement, speech, music, and everyday gesture to explore human relationships.

Tanztheater: A form of dance theatre that combines choreography with speech, theatrical action, and other stage practices. Bausch became the form’s most influential choreographer, blending dance and theatre in distinctive ways.
