Pir Roshan

Pir Roshan, also known as Bayazid Ansari, was a 16th-century Pashtun religious leader and Sufi mystic who founded the Roshani movement.

Roshani movement: A Pashtun religious movement founded by Bayazid Ansari in the 16th century. It carried Pir Roshan’s teachings into a broader religious and political movement.
Sufism: A broad Islamic tradition focused on spiritual discipline, inner transformation, and closeness to God. Pir Roshan presented his religious path within a Sufi framework.
Jalaluddin Roshani: A son of Bayazid Ansari who continued the Roshani movement after his father’s death. He succeeded Pir Roshan as a principal leader of the movement.
