Place attachment

Place attachment is an emotional and social bond between people and a particular place. It develops through experience, meaning, relationships, and dependence on the place.

Place identity: Place identity is the part of personal identity shaped by relationships with physical environments. It describes how attachment to a place can become part of how people understand themselves.
