Platform screen doors

Platform screen doors are barriers along station platforms that separate passengers from tracks and open in coordination with train doors.

Train door synchronization: Coordination between train doors and platform doors so both open and close at the same time. This timing lets passengers board while keeping the platform edge protected between trains.
Full-height platform screen doors: Platform barriers extending from the floor to the ceiling or a station roof structure. They create a stronger physical separation and can help control station airflow.
