Playmaker

A player who directs attacking moves through passing, movement, and decision-making. Playmakers create opportunities by connecting teammates and exploiting space.

Vision (association football): The ability to perceive passing options, movement, and space during association football. It lets playmakers identify openings before defenders close them.
Passing (association football): The act of sending the ball to a teammate in association football. Playmaking uses passing as its main way to connect attacking actions.

Off-the-ball movement: Movement by a player who does not have possession of the ball. Playmakers use it to escape pressure and create passing angles.
