Podlaskie Voivodeship

Podlaskie Voivodeship is an administrative region in northeastern Poland, established in 1999, with Białystok as its capital.

Białystok: Białystok is the largest city in northeastern Poland and the capital of Podlaskie Voivodeship. The voivodeship’s capital is its principal urban and administrative center.
1999 Polish administrative reform: The 1999 reform reorganized Poland into sixteen voivodeships and restored county-level government. The reform established Podlaskie in its present administrative form.
