Polykarp Kusch

Polykarp Kusch was a German-American physicist who won the 1955 Nobel Prize in Physics for precision measurements showing that the electron’s magnetic moment differs from its predicted value.

Isidor Isaac Rabi: Isidor Isaac Rabi was a physicist who developed molecular-beam magnetic resonance and won the 1944 Nobel Prize in Physics. Rabi led the Columbia laboratory where Kusch developed precision atomic-beam experiments.
Electron magnetic moment: The electron magnetic moment is the strength and orientation of the magnetic dipole associated with an electron’s spin and motion. Kusch measured this quantity and found a value larger than the Dirac theory prediction.
