Pound per square inch

Pound per square inch (psi) is a unit of pressure equal to one pound-force per square inch. It is used chiefly in the United States and other customary-unit contexts.

Pressure: Pressure is the force exerted per unit area on a surface. Psi is one unit for expressing pressure.
