Arrhenius equation: An equation relating a reaction rate constant to temperature through an activation energy and a pre-exponential factor. The factor is the temperature-independent multiplier in this equation.
Rate constant: A coefficient in a rate law that relates reactant concentrations to reaction rate. The factor sets the scale of this quantity in the Arrhenius relation.
