Přemyslid dynasty

The Přemyslid dynasty was a Czech ruling family that governed Bohemia from the ninth century until 1306, shaping its conversion to Christianity, territorial expansion, and emergence as a kingdom.

Bořivoj I: A late ninth-century Bohemian prince, traditionally regarded as the first historically attested Přemyslid ruler. His baptism under Moravian influence marks the dynasty's early association with Christianity.
