Privy Council of England

The Privy Council of England was a body of advisers and administrators that assisted English monarchs in governing the realm, coordinating policy and royal administration.

Lord President of the Council: The senior officer who presides over the Privy Council and coordinates its business. This office organized council meetings and helped direct its collective work.
