Psamtik II

Psamtik II was a pharaoh of Egypt’s Twenty-sixth Dynasty, ruling from 595 to 589 BCE. His reign included a military campaign into Kush and renewed Egyptian activity abroad.

Kushite campaign of Psamtik II: A military expedition led by Psamtik II into Kush, the kingdom south of Egypt, around 593 BCE. This campaign was the defining military action of his reign.
