Pueblo peoples
Pueblo peoples are Indigenous peoples of the Southwestern United States whose distinct communities include the Hopi, Zuni, and Rio Grande Pueblos.
Hopi: The Indigenous people of northeastern Arizona whose homeland includes the Hopi mesas. Hopi communities are one of the Pueblo peoples named in this broader grouping.
Ancestral Puebloans: A term for earlier Indigenous societies of the Four Corners region, known for settlements such as Mesa Verde. Archaeological histories of these societies inform, but do not fully define, Pueblo pasts.
