Pyu people : An ancient Tibeto-Burman-speaking people who inhabited the Irrawaddy basin and established early urban communities in present-day Myanmar. The Pyu were the inhabitants whose communities formed this network of city-states.
Sri Ksetra : An ancient Pyu urban site near modern Pyay in Myanmar, notable for its extensive walls, religious monuments, and archaeological remains. Its scale and preservation make it the best-known example of a Pyu city.
