Knowra Qian Xuesen Qian Xuesen Qian Xuesen was a Chinese aerospace engineer and applied mathematician who helped establish China’s missile and space programs after returning from the United States in 1955.
Theodore von Kármán : A Hungarian-American mathematician and aerospace engineer who shaped modern aerodynamics and advised early rocket researchers. Von Kármán mentored Qian at Caltech and helped secure his early place in American aeronautics.
