Quezon City

Quezon City is a highly urbanized city in Metro Manila, Philippines. Named after former president Manuel L. Quezon, it served as the country’s capital from 1948 to 1976.

Manuel L. Quezon: Manuel L. Quezon was president of the Philippines from 1935 to 1944 and the city’s namesake. As president, he championed the planned city that bears his name.
