Quintus Fabius Pictor

Quintus Fabius Pictor was a Roman senator and historian of the third century BCE who wrote the earliest known Roman history, in Greek.

Roman historiography: The writing of history in ancient Rome, from early annalists to later imperial historians. Fabius Pictor is conventionally treated as the starting point of Roman historical writing.
