Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-tung

A collection of excerpts from Mao Zedong’s speeches and writings, published by the Chinese government and widely known as the Little Red Book. Its red cover and mass distribution made it a defining political text of the Cultural Revolution.

Mao Zedong: Chinese communist revolutionary who led the People’s Republic of China from its founding in 1949 until his death in 1976. His speeches and writings supplied the passages collected in the book.
